Oh, yes, forgot to mention--

I did indeed install a Windows partition on my Mac and then all the EPs up to Free Time.  I have AL, but I haven't started playing with it yet because I want to get used to Free Time first.  This is the way it's always been for Mac users--nothing for months or years, then a flurry of EPs and SPs, probably to make us crazy and give us false hope.

Of course, this has also introduced me to the Wonderful World of virus protection and no-CD cracks.  But SO FAR, everything appears to be working fine.  It takes some adjustment (i.e., what do you mean, there isn't homework every day?)  And it sure is purty.  Plus there is SO MUCH NEAT STUFF.  I cannot tell you how much I envied those of you with Teen Style Stuff.  Too bad I could never use it in the Legacy house, because the pink princessy stuff would have been perfect.

It's hard to make time for two parallel games.  I'm mostly trying to finish off SC while I'm messing around with Free Time on the side.  I have a not-so-secret project in the hopper--once I have all the EPs installed and I am used to them, I will be doing a spare story with Jack Doran from the BRRL.  I am VERY excited about that and have a plotline, some characters, and of course, an epic list of CC I need.  I've also been writing some other stories on the side, plus oh yes, keeping my day job.  Also learning to knit.

Elaine's a Senior now.  I'm considering going ahead and putting together an update even though she has a year more of college.  That would add an additional mostly (as far as I know) drama free, plot free final Uni chapter, then the weddingpalooza and however much longer until the first girl is born.  I will  begin sorting and see how many pictures I have without shooting the final plotty bit.  I wish I could be faster, but I lost a week's play to a glitch.

Also, allergies are killing me.  I had to miss a day of work and finally made an appointment with a specialist.  The villain is almost certainly tree pollen, probably the mulberries just outside my front door.

squeaky clean, real life, sims 2
