For the one hour screening I had a 99.  For the three hour screening I had 75 for my fasting sugar, 155 after the first hour, 180 after the second, and 151 after the third hour.  It is official I have Gestational Diabeties.  Which I kind of knew because I haven't been feeling well.  I can't concentrate when I try to read and I get sleepy.  But the ( Read more... )

I went to the doctor this morning and everything is going great.  I am 24w 4d along.  I gained one pound since the last appointment.  I am still -1 from my prepreganacy weight.  The doctor wants me to continue gaining at the rate I am now.  1 to 2 pounds for each check - up.  Does that mean I should start gaining weight twice as fast since I will ( Read more... )

I am tired and all I want to do is stay home. I am fanagling it right now to have tomorrow off and turn this weekend into a four day weekend. I just am not feeling productive. I had a dream I gave birth to my cat (Sammy) and begged my best friend Stacy to be a surogate so I could have a real baby.  She said the kitten was a part of me and that I should love it anyway.

Should I be worried about laying on my back if it doesn't cause me any pain?  I have read it can limit the blood flow to the baby.  I am 17w 5d

Well I have been back in the real world for two days now.  It has been very busy.  I had a good time on my "vacation" though I didn't go any where.  And aI had a 3 year old to contend witht he whole week.  Vacation Bible School went well.  I am now on the downward slope of my involvement in church things.
