This meeting has come into order.

I'm going down to NoVA tomorrow, and am going to be in the area with my automobile until monday 6/5, on which I will proceed to drive back up to New Hampshire. I'm super psyched to get back down to see kids whom I think about quite often still, and speak to seldom. :(

My summer plans are as always tentative, but hopefully I can stick to them as closely as possible:
After my VA road trip, (Skye's not coming this time, which is saddening, but she says a girl's gotta work, and seeing as I have no permanent summer job in place yet, I can afford such a luxury as to take a five day vaca.), I'm planning on picking up odd shifts at Brewbakers, because my boss John is a flake and after promising part time work for myself and FULL-time work for my friend Alli around Spring Break, we come back for him to say that there's NOTHING for us. Apparently, the workers he hired and thought were going to leave for the summer didn't leave, and of course because he couldn't tell them that he had kind of promised priority for the original employees (Alli and I), that's why there are a sparse 2 shifts available. tsk tsk tsk. However, I will not succumb to rejection, I'm still feeling good about finding someway to make money. grrr.

I want to work on an organic farm this summer, however, that is not a good paying job, but the experience is also something i need. My grand goal that I've decided on in terms of my environmental science major is to take a year to two years off in between graduating undergrad and going to grad school, to join a non-profit organization and work in sustainable agriculture in developing nations. Then I go to grad school, (I haven't decided where yet) to take a masters in an agriculture focus. Thus, I think that to gain some experience now with working in farm environment is excellent, and really there's no excuse considering that there are A LOT of farms around this area, and in general, Cheshire County is fairly environmentally conscious.

So, coffee shop + farm + any other surprise employment opportunities that pop up through out the summer = Jobs for Stephanie = Desperately needed $

In other news,
I'm moving into an apartment in Boston next semester with 3 other Simmons gals, and piece-crafting my agriculture-related env. science major at an urban private-girls college. I really am going to have to study abroad at some point.

My grades really sucked this semester. like really. and hey, guess what, I'm tired of sucking. So, I'm busting ass next semester to make up for it. Like really.

I'm turning 20 in June! that means I can... continue doing what I've been doing since I turned 19. well shit. happy horrah.

I'm seeing an incredible girl right now who's currently at her home in CO, and who I'll get to see upon her return in July. She's amazing. but we're keeping it open. So, I can continue to be "hey grrl, lets have a little fun" steph with other females, and still maintain my evolving relationship with Natalie. It makes sense to us.

At this moment,
I have to go running.
I have to try and leave my name with a few farms.
I have to shower and eat dinner.
I have to pack.
I have to look at the map.
I have to make a few phone calls.
I have to sleep.
I have to wake up early.
I have to go.

Meeting adjourned.
