Do you feel the mountains tremble?
SO. I didn't feel the tremor of the earthquake in the late morning. But friends who lived or worked in the East msged and said they felt it. I was watching news and the U.S. Geological Survey said the tremor which had a "preliminary magnitude" of 6.3 struck around 30 miles from Padang, a city on Sumatra's western coast. The tremor was felt as far away as Singapore. Thats a powerful earthquake! Fortunately, the earthquake occurred on land, meaning it would not trigger another Tsunami.
An ex-colleague who works at Shenton msged asking if I knew there was an earthquake and whether I felt it because he did. So I asked Elaine who was walking next to me today in school and she was Hilarious in her reply.
Me: My friend just sms-ed me saying there was an earthquake in Spore just now. Haha. earthquake. haha.
E: Wait. Really? What time was that? Do you know I felt it this morning as I was applying my mascara!!!!
Me: Serious. How long was it? Did you fall over?
E: It was for about 30secs. But I was seated.
Me: Not kidding? How did it feel?
E: It felt as if someone was shaking me. Damn scary! Dunno who shaking me, I thought ghost.
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA
How cuter can you get Elaine! Anyway, I heard some office buildings in the CBD area were also evacuated, workers were given the day off. Nearer to where I live, my mum who teaches at Keming Primary in Bukit Batok, said one teacher and her students witnessed their water bottles shaking.

On a random note, i have some tips on how to take out the sticky stuff left over from removing the sticky price tag on pens, books, etc.
1. Instead of searching high and low in your storeroom for Kerosene, try using Insectiside.
E.g. Baygon Insecticide Anti-Rampants
2. Spray a tiny drop onto a cotton pad
3. Clean over sticky area
4. Use a damp tissue to clean it over
5. Viola! As good as new.
Guess who taught me. Gramps! He says it contains Kerosene too, which removes grub and grime. Cool.
