SO. I didn't feel the tremor of the earthquake in the late morning. But friends who lived or worked in the East msged and said they felt it. I was watching news and the U.S. Geological Survey said the tremor which had a "preliminary magnitude" of 6.3 struck around 30 miles from Padang, a city on Sumatra's western coast. "Felt building shaking. Evacuating building now. So scary! Got earthquake in indonesia"

I got that text message from my sister followed by my mom who forwarded my sister's msg to me too. Her workplace is right there nearing on the outskirts and very much on reclaimed land too! Frightening I tell you. And no one was allowed back into the office once they were evacuated so all of them were given the rest of the day off.

Whoa. Must have been frightening to be in the building and evacuating.. That sure is first hand news! I hope she's alright.

haha, bummed. i didnt feel it here, but i felt the one in hawaii. i was sleeping and my entire bed and building was shaking (on the 15 floor). i woke up and wondered how come the building could shake to shake off all the dew. haha. then my room mate called me, which really woke me up, and we saw everyone in the opp building come out to their balcony. and then, the entire island's power and water supply got cut. awesome that there were no reported injuries. :)

on another note, i think just using zippo could work too. so you dont have to like tolerate the smell of the baygon. haha.

Yeah you told me over MSN while you were still in Hawaii. I remember laughing at your "how come the building can shake off all the dew" comment. LOL. you are so cute!

i tried vaseline..it helps too..can gif it a try..it definitely smells better than insecticides!
