If only we had 24hrs more each day
Well, this weekend ended off on a really sweet note. Thank you for the movie-dinner date today. I wanna let you know I really enjoyed myself.. We should have seized the day, but the swim really did help cool some steam and unhappy moments. Well something I've come to realise.. if you're angry, just swim. Swim laps in the pool. Swim it all off. I assure you, it works everytime. Its also a healthier way of drowning your sorrows. (haha!)
So we had a leetle date and we drove down to Vivo and settled for German fare at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant. Köstlich! Delicious!

Sat outdoors because it had a lovely view and the moon was so round. Wanted to knock a coupla beers and relax but we realised we were almost late for the movie, Letters from Iwo Jima. (Heard so much rave about it!) I almost sprained my neck throughout the 2 1/2 hrs, because we sat 4 rows from the front. And GV's seats are just manufactured crazily upright!
Shared a Pork Knuckle Dish which was pretty pretty yummy

Service was not bad. Food came quick, serving staff are friendly.. The waiter asks how the food and the Bier is and refills your water. Attentive and friendly service is something I hope to see more of in Sinagpore. Makes dining out such a better experience. Don't you think so?

We both craved for brownies with ice-cream after the movie, drove to holland but ended up heading to this corner shop near my place and settled for our favourite bar chor mee. FAVOURITE!
