I sometimes really hate work.
I work at two places. Both are part time which is fine since I work anywhere between 40 and 50 hours a week so it all works out in the end.
However I will have to work on Halloween at night. Because we're getting a new line of clothing in and my manager doesn't really care if you have a child you have to help get ready. Now she does have children of her own and what not but that's beside the point. When you tell someone that they can have Halloween night off then later on tell them, "You can forget about Halloween," don't expect them to be all okay with it. Especially when you tell someone in that flippant of a manner. I told her, "I have to help my daughter get ready. I'll be there at five."
In fact I'm coming to work in my Gryffindor costume. I have no idea if I'm allowed to dress up. I'm assuming not but it is a conservative outfit so I won't be out of what the company deems as inappropriate dress. Collared shirt, tie, sweater. I'll wear pants instead of my skirt. Only because the skirt needs to be hemmed.
Off to work.
