Just came back from the doctor's once again. Feel pretty good everything came out normal. VERY happy that to hear that my glucose results were positive.. I have no Diabetes! I have gained 3 more lbs in addition to 3wks ago...so now Im @ 161. Jr. is doing just fine too, His heartbeat came out to 140 today just like last appt. Only this time he wasnt ( Read more... )

I'm chuckling at Law and Order: SVU right now because any time they have a pregnant victim, it goes something like this:

"She was six weeks pregnant."
"Well, check if our suspect was in town six weeks ago."

Silly detectives - six weeks pregnant doesn't mean she actually got pregnant six weeks ago. ^.~

Does anyone know if any websites show "16 and Pregnant" or "I didn't know I was pregnant" online in Canada? I'm so bored =P   

I have a strange question to ask, first, at the moment I'm 8 weeks 4 days pregnant with my first baby...my question though is: is it bad to watch scary movies in the first trimester? My mother had always told me not to watch anything scary, cause it could harm the fetus, i don't know if it's an old wives tale though...i appreciate any and all ( Read more... )

For those who haven't seen it yet, my husband and I discovered that the well regarded documentary "The Business of Being Born" is now being run on Showtime and on Showtime on Demand (my husband is watching it now-he hasn't seen it yet. I saw it last year.)

If you haven't had the opportunity to watch, it's really interesting.

Ever since I was 15yrs old my favorite show has been TLC's A Baby Story and now that I'm having a baby the show kind of scares me. I have no clue what kind of birth is in store for me, it could be text book or it could take a turn for the worst. I am sure many of you have seen it already but there is a "Freebirthing" special on TLC tonight, actually it already started at 8PM here on the east coast. TLC should repeat it at 12AM or 1AM. Anyway, I saw this special last year and found it to be very compelling. Whether someone agrees with the women who choose to labor without any medical care ( Read more... )
