I have been put on bedrest and pelvic rest indefinitely and I am completely miserable.

First questions! So Im 19 weeks and 2 days with a cerclage and am already having what I think are braxton hicks. Im not sure if this is what Im feeling since its my first pregnancy. Had our 19 week anatomy scan today and babe is measuring perfectly on date and is all put together correctly!! Very happy about that! And we found out its a BOY!!!!!!! So excited!!!!!!! Dh and I knew as soon as we concieved it was a boy but everyone else was sure it was a girl..I guess mommy and daddy know best!! My cervix was measuring 4.5  which ( Read more... )

Still on modified bedrest from my cerclage procedure over a week ago. the doctor says light duty for at least the next 4 weeks to make sure everything is fine for my cervix. Which also put an end to my job search. I was so excited I just finally graduated with my second bachelors, this one in nursing, and I cant get a job. We need the money so bad ( Read more... )

Tuesday my cerclage was put in. It went a little better then I expected! The saddle black was not so bad, except my blood pressure dropped and it made me sick. The procedure it self I didnt feel at all not even the tugging or pressure they said I would feel. Getting more and more nervous about my upcoming cerclage, on May 11th (15 weeks). Im dreading it with everything I have! Im so nervous about the spinal block since I have never had anything like that. Went to the gyn today and they decided to move my due date up since baby consistently is measurng big in ultrasounds. New due date is November 2! My hubby desperatly wants a Halloween baby so this puts it closer to his goal! LOL. Went to my first prenantal appt with my Gyn today.  She was great and took time and answered all the questions I had, im just a little nervous about one thing...she wants me to get a cerclage at 12 weeks.
