I always seem to have the dumbest questions. Today's stupid question? Do I need both a quilted mattress pad AND a waterproof pad for the crib? I thought we'd be good to go with just the waterproof pad, but now I'm reading all of these things that tell me I need both. If you have photos of your crib with the bed skirt already on would you mind posting it here in the comments? I just realized my crib is a slightly different layout then I thought all along. I just had to show off my two favorite things that I got. A couple of my friends crochet and my best friend Kim made me a GORGEOUS blanket and my friend Natalie crocheted me a semi matching beanie and booties with leftover yarn.

A friend of mine is the same weeks along I am, and sent me this link. She said that it's a mattress cover that supposedly prevents SIDS. She said she wasn't sure if it was a scam, but that the $32 might be worth it just in case.

Anyone heard anything about this? I'm quite dubious myself :/
