No one to watch kids while birthing

What's the normal "etiquette" for bringing kids with you to Labor and Delivery?

My husband and I have two kids, aged 7 and 3, and I'm 37 weeks pregnant. We recently moved to a new city, and our closest family members live 4 hours away. While I'm sure those family members would be in the car and on their way the moment we called them, I'm known to have relatively fast deliveries, and I fear they wouldn't make it in time to watch our older kids.

Unfortunately, no one is able to take off work and just camp out at our house for days on end until I go into labor or anything like that, so the kids are most likely going to end up at the hospital with us for a while (unless it all happens while they're at school). I've been really stressing out over this because, while our older child is marvelously well-behaved and can read books for hours on end, our 3 year old is very much a 3 year old, if you know what I mean.

Any advice?
