I have some anxiety problems. I take .5 mg Ativan when necessary, such as for flights or dental work. I have not taken it when pregnant. I'm have dental work this afternoon and inquired with my OB's office about a one-time Ativan for the work. The nurse I was speaking with suggested I use an ipod and close my eyes (obviously she doesn't have anxiety issues). I asked her to speak with my doctor and call me back. She did and said I could take half a tablet, so .25mg, and that a one-time dose would not hurt the baby (I'm 26 weeks). Is anyone familiar with Ativan and pregnancy? .5mg is already a very low dose. I was hoping they'd okay my regular tablet. Is .25mg going to help at all? Thanks!
