So it looks like those Braxton Hicks contractions were not too false...I just spent the last 6 hours of my day in the ER with cramping/contractions. Turns out I am dehydrated and have a serious UTI. They gave me saline IV and antibiotic IV as well as a 2 week regimen of Microbid to take home, as well as a shot to stop the contractions...when I posted earlier, the pain was at about a 2...when I called my dr at 2:30 this afternoon they were about a 4...of course my Dr was gone for the day and I couldnt reach anyone so I went to the ER. They also did an ultrasound and our little girl is at 17W, 6D and i'm 18 weeks on the dot today. She was moving a lot and having a good old time in there, and her mesasurements were spot on, so they decided she wasn't in any danger but it sure did scare the hell out of us.
From now on i'll be sure to drink plenty of water!
