Ok, let me ask you guys are really stupid question. Let's say you had a dating ultrasound in the 6th week and they said you had one baby. Is it possible that you could have had two babies and only one was visible?
My boyfriend and I keep joking about how it would be hilarious if we suddenly found out I had two babies in there. I had a dating ultrasound at 6w5d and nothing since. I have been able to hear two heartbeats on my at-home doppler for awhile now, one around 140BPM and the other near 160. I know, it's probably echo and all of that, I don't seriously think I'm carrying multiples. I'm really just curious about this.
So, could it be possible to miss a second baby that early? Come on, humor me. (Currently 16w5d.)
