I'm having a girl!
Everything seemed to be measuring normally. Heart rate was 156bpm, and from my 16w blood test results the chance of Down syndrome is 1/21,000 and the chance of spina bifida is 1/12,000. She is hanging out in there vertically, with her head by my belly button and her feet down low, and when I lay on my stomach I can feel her kicking me. "Mom, get out of my way!" she's probably saying. I've gained 6 pounds this entire pregnancy... and it was all in the past 4 weeks. Normal? I'm so happy that everything else is going wonderfully and that it's a girl (what I was not-so-secretly wishing for)!
