Babies and allergies

I have severe allergies. I was taking Zyrtec-D daily up until I found out I was pregnant. I would love to know if there are any other ladies that have allergies as well and what you did for them. The idea of being off of antihistamines for the next 7 months literally makes me want to sit down and cry.

My DR recommended I go with a nasal saline spray and a humidifier since I am in the first trimester. I am not sure if she is going to let me start taking Benadryl after the first trimester or not. (crossing my fingers) So, we are going to buy a humidifier today. Any recommendations?

Any other suggestions that might help me get through this?
