• We have a female prime minister. Australia's first ever female PM.
• I have tickets to see Stephen Fry at the end of next month, and they're second row! Didn't think that would happen, but Ticketmaster have done this twice to me now after a second search. Not complaining and I can't wait now. The show would have been wonderful regardless.

Thought I'd join in on that meme. It's Tuesday morning, I'm first one in at work (in my team) and I'm all cramped and I have the sniffles. Next weekend is a long weekend though!

I've only just noticed, but LJ's nauseated mood theme is grammatically correct which probably should not make me gleeful.

My brother got fired today from the job he's been really dedicated to and working hard at and always available to work more shifts at. (Apparently, on Friday night he rang up a purchase wrong, and that's why he was sacked even though he has no recollection of it happening.)So, yeah, I am going to work today with his resume to try to see if he can ( Read more... )

My boss has called me six times in the past three days, asking me to work because people keep cancelling. The thing is, the roster for Home only takes up one A4 page now and it includes all the full-time, part-time and casual staff which says something don't you think? Hire more casuals.
