watching the cat in the hat. classiiic movie. did you know dr. seuss invented the word nerd. rhetorical. i finaaally downloaded the L word season 5, but after an episode i'm totally not into it. they're all getting older, and they have bags under their eyes and they all look soo tiiired. i don't want to see unattractive, old, naked women on tv. i want my people on tv to be aesthetically appealing. no ug chicks. if i wanted to watch the golden girls meets MA rated porn, i would go to some generic old lady porn website where i'm sure i could find much more diverse and interesting storylines.
one thing i dislike about tv is that shows that are supposed to be about normal people with normal lives, seem to feature an extraordinary number of natural and unnaturally occuring disasters, almost as if they're commonplace. floods and massive earthquakes and fires and people setting other people's houses on fire and getting shot and saving people's lives by being heroic versions of their cowardly selves. because people do that aaall the time in real life. ohhh well. i guess i could just not watch tv, but that's extremely extreme. i'll compromise, by not watching desperate housewives or grey's anatomy. even easier to do than to say.
i love alec baldwin in just about anything. including a purple suit, and excluding 30 rock, which i dislike it on principle. possibly unwisely.
my madewithloveinafrica bracelets arrived today. it's $20 for 20 from the madewithloveinbrazil.com website, and they're made from recycled rubber that is given to african women. and then the money from the bracelets goes to them. andd they're endorsed by chris martin. always a plus.
madewithloveinbrazil.com/spreadthelovetoafrica.html i find it's a lot easier to give to a good cause if there's like tangible evidence, you know?
