For even though the prompts from last week are yet to be filled, there had been a priceless and fruitful discussion as well and guest sermons and prayers!
And one of our little orphans got adopted by the magnanimous Bishop lulahbellein her promising Faith
the rest of the poor little orphans now can be found in a new ward:
please let them not die of consumption or something equally dramatic and 19th century!
OH ALL YE FAITHFUL, this week it was up to my wonderful accomplice Reverend ladytiferet to choose two promps of the canon variety and for me to choose two AUs. We cannot help but hope that there is something for everyone in this week's Service and that donation will tumble, aplenty, upon the altar steps.

Esca/Marcus - Predatory!Esca, Shirt-Ripping!
Just want a story where Esca gets Marcus backed into a corner or trapped in a room and goes all predatory on him. Lots Marcus' clothes being ripped open and stripped naked in record time by Esca!

Esca/Marcus, Esca/OMC - love triangle
A member of the Brigantes shows up in Calleva, and turns out to be Esca's former lover (maybe Esca thought he'd been killed during the Brigantes' last battle?). Esca finds himself torn between his residual love for his former lover, and his growing love for Marcus.
Bonus points if Marcus and the ex learn about each other!
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE DELICATE ECO-SYSTEM OF MARCUS AND ESCA'S RELATIONSHIP TURNED HAPHAZARD BY ANOTHER CHARACTER. WE HAVE SEEN THAT LOYALTY TO MARCUS PREVAILS IN ESCA IN MOST DRAMATIC SITUATIONS BUT HOW WOULD IT LOOK LIKE IF IT WOULD BE AGAINST SOMEONE ESCA HAD LOVES OR LOVES STILL?

Esca/Marcus - modern AU, forced to fight, angsty h/c

Marcus, a soldier who is in a very bad place in his life, just wanted to get drunk and fuck somebody. The last thing he remembers is flirting with a short blonde guy who offered him a drink. Now he wakes up in a cell, chained to the wall, and is supposed to fight for his life in an arena. The blonde guy is now his caretaker, patching him up, making sure he's healthy, eats properly and stays more or less sane.
Marcus hates him, of course, and the guy, Esca, is all cold and professional, but there is a strange bond forming between them, care, anger and reluctant h/c.
Bonus points for some knifeplay somewhere along the way.

Marcus and Esca are friends/colleagues/fellow members of the dancing crew/whatever else you find inspiring.
One of the guys accuses the other of being too vanilla, the other takes offense. The first dares the other to prove him wrong, the other takes on the challenge.
Cue dirty texts, e-mails, whispers in his ear detailing what the other guy would do to the first one. The whole thing might be executed jokingly at the beginning, but it quickly gets heated :)
