5023: Harry the yellow Pearl - Harry Potter, potentially eventually a Holly Potter (his sister)
Don’t forget about the first bi-annual Pottersues Contest which is replacing the old annual Pottersues Contest. The theme for said contest is Gamer Fic. Since Gamer Fic is a rather new concept in fanfic, I’ve added links to three entries which feature a Gamer Fic. I’m also working on a list of common traits we find in Sue stories which make them Sue stories called More Than Thirteen Reasons Why.
Someone requested I find crossovers for two specific fandoms. I couldn’t find the second one on the pit or A03 yet, but I could find one for Steven Universe. I kind of regret having found it.
Title: Harry the yellow Pearl
Perpetrator: Vale Fire 99
Sue-O-Meter: Awful (Very likely to head into the Toxic realm, but there are only a couple of chapters up.)

Summary: Harry is killed by his uncle Vernon after he's left there by his parents and he is reborn as a pearl serving the newly emerged yellow diamond.

Species: Holly is the wrong girl who lived.

Eyes: n/a
Markings: Holly has “a V-shaped scar under her right eye.” Harry now looks like this.
Possessions: I can’t think of anything on this one.
Connection to Canon: Harry’s parents survive. Harry’s parents dump him on his uncle and aunt’s doorstep. Vernon beats him to death to the point “his body was so malnourished he couldn’t even stand properly, the only thing Harry thought that was keeping him alive and moving was his magic,” that Harry shouldn’t even know about. He dies and “lady magic” with varying capitalization through the entire story “gently placed Harry soul and magic into the earth and watched as it merged with the gem in the earth crust that glowed softly before returning to incubation.” We jump 14,000 years later and Harry’s name is in the Triwizard Tournament and them going to look for Harry. I guess I should be thankful Harry is now a she? I think? Yeah, I think so.
Origin: From the summary alone the writer is guilty of character bashing Vernon and making him more abusive than he is in canon, but apparently Harry is now female diamond despite originally being male. At least, the last part is what the summary left me with the impression of. Apparently “Harry Potter had lived a rather miserable life, several years ago a dark wizard by the name of Lord Voldemort had attempted to kill his family, his mother and father had been away leaving he and his sister Holly alone with a babysitter who was their traitor of an Uncle Peter Pettigrew.
Special Abilities: At first I was excited thinking the babysitter sacrificed themselves so Harry and Holly could live, but alas the Stuthor forgot that important detail regarding the canon material; Lily sacrificed herself so her child could live. I guess I should be glad though, given the fact the writer didn’t actually go that route.
Notes: I suspect Zach, the Mage of Middle Earth, is in fact a rather young writer. That, or a rather sheltered young Christian.

In Dumbledores office; he was holding a meeting with a few of the teachers of Hogwarts, Minerva McGonagall, Lily, and James Potter, Severus Snape, and Alastor Moody all of whom were discussing the results of the summoning of the tri-wizard champions.
words of "how are this possible" "this cant be" and "How did this happen filled the room till Minerva whistled getting the rooms attention.
"Now that I have your attention, Albus how did this happen?" asked Minerva with her usual composure
"I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you Minerva he is still in the muggle world, there is no way he could have entered into the tournament," said Albus, at the piece of paper in his hands.
"Then I guess it's time we go visit the child," said Moody, hobbling over to the group.
"We can't simply barge in on my sister and her family, just for that boy," said Lily, with a hint of disgust in her voice.
