Title: Light to Darkness
Perpetrator: Fire'sCatching Yes, they’ve written fanfic for the Hunger Games series. On the 8th of this month, they updated their profile to say, “so I came to the conclusion that right now I’m not a big fan of the Hunger Games as I have been focusing on that for a while, so I actually want to take a break from that fandom for a few months, hopefully once school is over, I’ll get back into it. If you’re worried about me abandoning my Hunger Games SYOTs please pm me. My SYOT Randomize will be updated once I get the last 2 train rides from the collaborator.”
Sue-O-Meter: Toxic
Cover/Banner Art: The writer’s avatar is of a fairy. The art is detailed, but I’d say the element is dark.
Summary: “Cassiopeia was a newborn vampire who got changed over the past summer, she was denied going to Hogwarts for her last year. She hadn't gone to Volterra, Italy then she would never find her mates.”
Full Name: Cassiopeia Lestrange
Species: She’s a girl from an orphanage, but a vampire - a sparkly vampire.
Hair: n/a
Eyes:  Red eyes, as per Twilight. Don’t know what they used to be like.
Markings: Pale skin, as per Twilight.
Possessions: She doesn’t really have anything specific
Connection to Canon: The first chapter is Dumbledore denying her the ability to attend her last year. The second chapter is her whining about her plight of being a poor orphan who’s not really an orphan turned into a vampire.
Origin: Despite the fact Dumbledore took precautions regarding Werewolves during Remus’ school year, he can’t be bothered to help Cassiopeia out.
Special Abilities: Normally when I feature a Twilight crossover Sue I find myself yawning from boredom. The stories not done that, but there are also only two chapters up, meaning the story could go plotless like most stories do. The writer also makes a big deal about how “she enjoyed her classes and didn’t pay any attention to Harry Potter”, but the Sue thinks Draco has a crush on Harry.

Notes: We have another character from an orphanage. Did you know the last orphanage in England closed in 1979? So please, stop making your Harry Potter character someone raised at an orphanage. I wonder if the only reason writers do this is because Voldemort grew up in an orphanage. The 20s and 30s are a far cry from the 80s and 90s.

Sample:

Cassiopeia growled as she finished the letter. She had her thirst under control but the old, meddling fool that it was dangerous in case her parents might find her. She wasn't a daughter to them to no one. The letter fell down onto the desk in cinders.

She remembered a coven full of vampires in a book, something called the Volturi.

They were located in Volterra, Italy.

pw - woobie/cry for me, related to the blacks, rating - toxic, pp - orphanage, ct - vampire (full), related to the lestranges, p - crossover
