CONCERTS!
Okay, Annie and I are MOS DEF trekking the 4 hour drive to Tucson to catch the lovely Hellogoodbye and you know what's awesome? Its in some ridiculously small venue (a bar inside of a hotel?) and according to the facebook event page, only like, 20 people are going because Senses Fail is playing the exact same night, 2 blocks down. AWESOME.
Aw, I do love me some Senses Fail, tho. The HGB concert starts at 6:00 and Senses Fail is at 7:00. I could care less about whoever is opening for SF, so we are hoping if HGB gets done early, then we can run over and catch the their show as well. Do you think the venue would still let people in that late?
If we reeeeeeally wanted to catch Senses Fail, they will be in Albuquerque the day before that, which is 3 hours away from here, then drive 6 hours to Tuscon to catch Hellogoodbye.
What Annie wants to do is see Hellogoodbye, maybe Senses Fail after if we are lucky, and THEN drive 6 hours to Albuquerque the next morning because All Time Low and Mayday Parade will be there, then 3 hours back home so we can be at work the next day. I think even at one time we were going to have one ridiculous road trip extravaganza with us driving 3 hours to Alb and seeing Senses Fail, 6 hours to Tuscon to see HGB, 6 hours back to Alb for All Time Low/Mayday Parade, then 3 hours back home. HAHAHAHA...no.
I effing hate long car drives.
Oh, but what's even better is that Cobra Starship will be in El Paso on Nov 5 and then Taking Back Sunday on Dec 5. TAKING BACK SUNDAY! I have never seen them in concert before. When they came here for Warped Tour in '05, I went to their meet and greet and got awesome autographs and shizz, but missed their actual set because they were on the same time as Yellowcard or something.
