First 2009 post
Funny how New Years ended up. Melissa came, and the kids were hilarious to have all there. We said happy new year at 10 (NY time) and tried to get them to bed. By the time real midnight came around, I was exhausted and just about to go to bed myself. It wasn't nearly as big last year. The clock coo-cooed midnight and my mom smooched my dad as a group of them played chicken foot but that was it. Or I at least walked away before anything more happened. So it was dull but I was too exhausted from taking care of 5 kids to care.
I have a feeling this semester is going to be a very long one. Super sucks to get up at 5am, at school by 7am, and not leave till 7pm...12 hours at school is too much. Getting to bed before 11 will help my lack of energy.
Fun fact: When I come back from Romania in August, I get to stay in Vienna for a night. Pretty awesome. But..hopefully between Romanian, Spanish and English I can survive. Not sure if I like the idea, but I'm supposed to take my laptop with me on the trip so at least I'l be able to update and load pictures. (hopefully...I doubt I'll have a lot of downtime)
