Who: Sanada, Yukimura, sleeping Atobe and a bane!kick
What: Sanada and Yukimura chat. Sanada expresses reservations about the situation, and tries to sneak Yanagi in on Wednesdays :D
Where: Atobe's room; tennis courts (good thing Osamu didn't see them)
When: This morning
Sanada woke up feeling strange. He was (once again) not on his bed, and someone was in his arms. Not Yanagi (and boy, had that been embarrassing), but Atobe. Oh. OH GOD. He sat up suddenly, stared down, and shook Atobe awake for a moment. "Must go," he muttered, hoping the other guy wouldn't be too put out. Then he stepped into his shoes, paused at the bathroom, and headed out to find his new boyfriend.
Yukimura was out at the courts, getting in some early morning training. He was dying to know how the talk with Atobe had gone, what Sanada's reaction to the news had been, whether Atobe still thought this was a good idea or not.... Unfortunately, his training wasn't doing much to take his mind off it. Whacking a ball against a wall didn't do much for mental distraction, sadly. He decided to start hitting harder, and almost thought about actually taking off his weights for this, to get a sense of his own strength.
Sanada knocked at the door to Yukimura's room to no avail, and then hunted. Dining hall, no. Roof, no. Court ? He ended up there, wishing he had his baseball cap to cover up his bedhead, and advanced upon Yukimura. "Seiichi."
Yukimura grunted as he gave the ball one last, hard hit, and caught it in his bare hand when it returned. He wiped away a little sweat that had started to trickle beneath his headband as he turned. "Good morning, Gen," he grinned, surprised to see him. It was Thursday, right? How on earth did Sanada get out of Atobe's clutches for the day?
Sanada didn't pause. He walked up to Yukimura, gripped him by the waist, and dragged him over to the convenient wall. Pinned. Sanada stared down. "I hear that we are dating," he said, feeling the usual insane tingle when they were body to body.
Yukimura oofed when he felt his back hit the wall, and blinked up at Sanada. Interesting reaction. "Mm. Well. I guess that about sums it up," he smiled, tossing his racket and ball aside. "I take it you talked with Atobe?" He could feel his heart thumping in his chest, and knew that only part of it had to do with the practice he'd been doing.
"I did." Sanada raised his hand and traced a trickle of sweat down the side of Yukimura's face. His. He wondered if Yukimura was truly ready for that. "How will it work, precisely?"
Yukimura let himself lean into the touch, smiling wide. It felt good, to not have to hold back anymore. "Each of us gets you three days a week, for dates and things like that. I get Sunday through Tuesday, he gets Thursday through Saturday. Wednesday is your choice - both or neither of us, in case you need a break."
"For Renji," Sanada said with a slightly wicked grin, and leaned down, closer and closer. He was glad he'd brushed his teeth as he pressed their mouths together. "Mmmmmhhhh..." Relief. It felt like a physical relief to kiss Seiichi.
"Renji was not part of the agreement," Yukimura murmured, leaning up to kiss back. It felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, to be allowed to do this....Even if it was technically on Atobe's time. He felt sure Atobe would allow a little leeway, while Sanada was getting used to the idea. It'd start for real on Sunday.
Sanada's hand cupped the small of Yukimura's back and his body melded against Seiichi's, mouth opening a little to taste him because he could. HIS. He ignored words for a little while and just reveled in the flavor of Yukimura...
Yukimura wound his arms up around Sanada's shoulders, lips parting, tongue sneaking out to touch Sanada's lower lip, an invitation for more. He'd never in his entire life imagined it would feel this good, just to be kissing someone. ...Not just anyone. Sanada. "Mmmmhh..."
Sanada slid their tongues together, feeling his body shiver awake, exploring Yukimura's mouth with slow hunger. Another moment and they'd be practically having sex against the wall, and it was way too bright out for that.
Yukimura felt the desire in him to just keep going, to not hold back anything at all and just totally, completely let go... But it was too light out and too public for what that might lead to, not to mention being Thursday. Reluctantly, he pulled back, licking his lips a little to savor the taste. "Gen..." That was all he could think to say, at the moment.
"Seiichi..." Sanada shifted, blushing. First real kiss with new boyfriend and ... he stepped back and shifted his shirt. "-- Are you sure? This might be difficult. For us all."

Yukimura chuckled a little and ran his fingers up through Sanada's hair - felt like the old gesture had such a new meaning, now. And if Sanada was trying to hide what Yukimura thought he was trying to hide, Renji hadn't been lying. "I'd be a fool if I thought it would be easy, Gen. I know it won't. I expect it to be a rough, bumpy ride, for as long as it lasts. But...Atobe and I are going to do what we can to make it easier. We're going to try and get to know each other better...maybe even be friends. And you get to have the both of us. I think it's worth it."
"And who else will you two have?" Sanada had to ask it. "I don't want to share either of you. But it would be only fair." That hurt, but had to be said.
Yukimura shook his head. "I can't speak for Atobe on that, but. With this arrangement...I've got what I want." He let his fingers caress Sanada's cheek, still in awe that he really could, that gestures like this weren't going to build up a tension they had to just ignore.
Sanada felt himself ache. "You don't want Renji in this way?"

Yukimura took a moment to really think about it. Renji was a friend, one as close to him and as important to him as Sanada. Physically, Renji had the body type that Yukimura knew he was drawn to, and yet... He found he'd never really thought of Renji that way. "I don't think I do," he replied softly, still considering it some.
"I know that I do, but...I can hold back. He is otherwise interested, and I have my hands very, very...full." Sanada growled out that last bit, looking Yukimura over. Oh, the things he wanted to fill his hands with.
Yukimura nodded. He knew Renji had an interest in Sanada, and quite likely himself as well, but there was Inui. It would be rather interesting to see how the whole situation would unfold...especially since Renji didn't yet know about the arrangement made between him and Atobe. There was a lot to work out, still.
"I still do not see how this is fair to you or to Keigo," Sanada said, frowning. "I will try to think of a way." He stepped back, problem subsiding, and kissed Yukimura softly on the forehead, then resting his own forehead against it. "I am glad, however, that you know how I...feel."
Yukmura poked at Sanada's frown. "Just enjoy it, Gen. Everything will work itself out, somehow." Who knew. Maybe he and Atobe would end up together too. ........Yeah. Right. LIke that would happen.
Sanada sighed and kissed Yukimura again, very gently. "If you hurt -- if I hurt either one of you, it will be difficult for me to forgive myself."
"Don't think about things like that, Gen. When you're with Atobe, think only of him. When you're with me, think only of me. Which of us you think about when we're not around is entirely up to you. And...we've agreed that, if, at some point, you choose one of us over the other, the one not chosen will step back and let go." It would still hurt, if Sanada chose Atobe over him, Yukimura knew, but...it was a chance he was willing to take. And it helped to know Atobe was taking that same chance.
Sanada took a deep breath. It was much more difficult for him than that -- he'd always be thinking about them both. He would be polite and not mention it, however. That was a given. "I will try my best for both of you."
Yukimura tugged Sanada into a firm hug. "That's all we're asking. It's far from being a perfect solution, and I'm sure we're all very much aware of it. But, for now, it works." Or at least, he hoped it worked.
"Thank you," Sanada said, thinking to himself that this was going to be a difficult, exhilarating summer.
