Orla was so excited, she nearly apparated straight from her room to Dennis's, but remembered belatedly that the neighbors would definitely be able to tell, and as she had been doing since she started at The Leaky, she went to the Apparition Zone, concentrating on the look of Dennis's family dairy. She had a backpack with clothes and necessities in it, shrunk down, and as she concentrated, she popped out of the zone and into his driveway. Unfortunately, she didn't account for the truck, and ended up in the bed. Startled, she gave an "Oof!" Before she fell backwards like a turtle.

Great way to make an entrance, she thought disgustedly. Not at all graceful. Though to be fair, as soon as she saw Dennis she was going to jump on him and kiss him silly.

He heard her before he saw her. There was the loud crack of her arrival followed by the sound of her fall into the bed of the beat up pickup truck. Racing over to her, Dennis stepped onto the back bummer, pulling himself into the truck bed.

"Orla! Are you alright?" he asked in a small panic. He helped her up onto her feet, checking for bumps and bruises before cradling her face. "You could have hurt yourself," he said before leading down and kissing her softly. He was just about to deepen the kiss when some whistling and hollering could be heard from the other dairy workers.

Orla rolled her eyes. "Just bruised my dignity, yet again." She said, smiling into his touch on her face. She shrugged the bag off her back, wrapped her arms around his neck and jumped, wrapping her legs around his waist before kissing him energetically. Let people watch. Let them see how much she missed her boyfriend, she thought, her desire to wrap herself around him outweighing her embarrassment as such a public and highly inappropriate display.

She broke off, smiling at him. "Missed you."

Dennis caught her around the middle as she jumped and wrapped her arms and legs around him. Even though there was whistling, he was too lost in the feel of her in his arms. When she broke the kiss, he smiled at her. "Missed you too." He gave her a quick kiss before debating on whether or not he'd be able to climb out of the trunk with her wrapped around him, but decided against it.

"Let's get out of the trunk and then we can do whatever you want."

Orla nodded, wrapping her arms around Dennis. "Think they'd like to eat some chocolate?" She said, kidding. "So, how old were you when you started working the dairy? Do you parents mind that you won't be going into it? Did Colin like it?"

He wasn't sure if she was joking at first because his mind was simply on the idea of holding her. "Probably not," he said. Tilting his head to the side, Dennis though for a moment ( ... )

She gave him a squeeze. "But the legacy is you and Colin, rest his soul. He raised two hard working men." She smiled up at him. "Even if you're not dairy men, you're still something any parent would be proud of." She'd have to bite her tongue and see about inviting Dennis over to meet her folks sometime ( ... )

Squeezing her back, Dennis gave a small shrug. Sure, he was planning on working with creatures, most likely dragons, but he knew his dad would have been happier if either he or Colin stayed with the dairy. Although, he was certain that his dad was proud of him anyways.

"Not really, but the flash can startle them, especially at night. One tipped over once and Colin had to wake dad up to help him get it standing again," he said. He gave his girlfriend a frown as she talked about her parents. Did the realize how special she was? There wasn't another bid like her and there never will be.

"Have you looked for a place yet? I mean, you talked about it," he said. "How's it going at the Leaky? Did you talk to the woman in charge of the Magical Menagerie?"
