Ron had gotten the owl invitation from Megan, and had been thrilled. He knew he missed her; the holidays had been difficult, being on his own in the face of all of the family drama with Percy and George, as well as Katie and Cho all being in the hospital. He yearned to hold Megan close, and tell her that he thought about her all the time. He wanted her to know that if it had been her, kidnapped, he would have done the same thing ( ... )

Megan had gone into the kitchen to wash a couple of bottles and put away a few dishes from the lunch she and Matty had eaten earlier. Mostly everything was clean and in its proper place, but she was trying to stay busy until Ron arrived, otherwise she'd just be sitting, twiddling her thumbs and getting nervous. She was just closing a cabinet when she heard what sounded like someone arriving by Floo. Her eyes lit up and she hurried out of the kitchen towards the living room ( ... )

He dropped his bag and stepped into the flying body that came at him, wrapping his arms around her waist as he lifted her. He pressed her to him tightly, and moved her from side to side as he hugged her and rocked slightly, "Meg," he said into her hair as he held her and he leaned back to look at her, "Let me look at you," he said, sighing as he caught sight of her large blue eyes. He wanted to kiss her very badly and so he did, as he pressed her to him to keep her lifted, her hands on his neck firmly he realized ( ... )

Megan held onto him tightly, not wanting to let go for a long time. She'd missed being held, kissed, and all the affection Ron gave to her. She smiled at him just before they kissed, one of her hands sliding up into his red hair.

She kissed him tenderly at first, but because they'd been apart for so long, the passion within her quickly ignited. Megan kissed him deeply, shifting around so that her legs came around his waist. She hung onto him and made a soft sound behind their kiss, her fingers lightly beginning to curl around the soft strands of his hair. While she never wanted to go that long without seeing him again, she thought that this greeting made the absence worth it.
