she was trying to do the right thing, and put Matt before herself )
His face moved forward, her eyes growing larger and he decided he didn't want to tease or pretend that he didn't miss her terribly by kissing her nose or her cheeks, working her up to a larger, more intimate move. He closed the distance between them, and let his lips find hers, intensely pressing them to hers, parting them, searching that gap that formed between her and his, and then melting into her more. He found himself forcefully passionate; he wanted to do things to her and rip off their clothes and let him show her how much he adored her. He'd been feeling so prone to these moody doubts; her mirrored intensity ignited confidence and desire in him, for her and her alone.

She kissed him tenderly at first, but because they'd been apart for so long, the passion within her quickly ignited. Megan kissed him deeply, shifting around so that her legs came around his waist. She hung onto him and made a soft sound behind their kiss, her fingers lightly beginning to curl around the soft strands of his hair. While she never wanted to go that long without seeing him again, she thought that this greeting made the absence worth it.

His hands were on her back, letting their kiss deepen until there seemed to be a good stopping point. His chest was heaving and his heart was pounding as he put his forehead to hers, "Bloody hell, I missed the snot out of you woman! Next time, even if you're sick, you've got to let me come visit you," he said, pulling her closer to him in a sound hug. He didn't move but knelt there, holding her, "I know he was sick and you were scared. And I was gone. I would have come over at any time of night. Seriously. Even just to see you for five minutes," he said, his head leaning against her's.

"I missed you too," she said, gently threading her fingers in his hair. "I'm sorry I isolated myself. He's just never been sick before. I didn't know what to do," she said. "But I won't do it again. I don't ever want to be away from you for so long ever again. I was so lonely without you." She squeezed him, then kissed his cheek. "Are you all right? Do you want something to eat? Matt should be asleep for a little while longer."

"I don't want to move," he confessed, moving his thumb gently on her arm, and he buried his head into her more, and sighed happily.
