RP: Date Night

Summary: Ron and Megan meet up after not seeing each other for several days.

The past few weeks had been very scary for Megan. She'd gotten sick after the holidays, and accidentally passed it on to her son. A cold for her wasn't so bad, but for her baby, it was a bit more serious. It had panicked her a little, as he'd never been sick before. While she'd of course always loved Matthew with all of her heart, she'd not ever really been maternal until recently. When he got sick, the protective mothering instincts in her woke up, and she did not leave his side. She'd suffered from it, barely getting enough sleep to get by and not eating much, nearly getting sick again herself. Her social life had taken a hit because of it too. She missed Ron terribly, but she was trying to do the right thing, and put Matt before herself and her needs.
Fortunately, he'd started to recover over the past few days and no longer had a fever. He was a little congested, but she wasn't scared for her son anymore. Megan did not feel comfortable leaving the house yet, but with her parents gone for the weekend she didn't mind inviting Ron over. She'd just put Matt down for a nap, and though he'd fussed a little, he calmed down and eventually dozed off. Megan took that opportunity to change into something a little less scrubby and more fitting to her body, as well as the necklace he'd sent her. She fixed her hair a little and then waited for Ron to get there. She was a little fidgety, anxious for his arrival. She wouldn't wait to hug him, kiss him and just be with him again after being apart for so long.
