I have made it back from my birthday cruise. It went just about as well as I could have hoped. While there were a few snags, things were good. I loved cruising and can see why people enjoy it so much. I don't think I would only want to cruise for vacations, but once about every 5 years or so would be perfect. I am about an hour from walking out the door to leave for my cruise.  We got the kids dropped off with my mother last night.  Had a little prebirthday party for me and then came home and got the last minute stuff ready.  Took forever to get our documents printed since the web site didn't like Firefox.  Joy.  Once I figured out what the problem was ( Read more... )

We are at 5 days till I am leaving for Galveston to go on the Cruise for my birthday.  I want to be excited about it, but I am bogged down in the getting it done details and some issues with a couple of friends... The annual New Years Eve party went off without a hitch. It was much smaller this year, but that was really fine. We had about 18 - 20 total people here counting kids.
