April - Month of Being Social
Each month has a theme and this month is the month of being sociable.
You may have seen via facebook that I have a new job :) I thought I'd be, you know, quiet and discreet about it! This job starts on the 3rd May, and will run for 12 weeks, during which I won't be allowed to take time off for holiday. In return I get August off (albeit unpaid, so I may find other work for that month), and the Team starts again in September.
So, if I don't go to see people this month, it's not likely to happen till the end of Summer.
So... this weekend is Mothers Day and I'll be in Rottingdean on sunday after a day of chores and hopefully seeing another friend on Saturday.
Wkend of 9th will be in Didcot with a brief stop over at my Dads.
Wkend of 16th is a quick trip to London with Sunday for household stuff.
Easter weekend is at Dover Castle with the Hubby
29th is hopefully up to Hull.
I'm not sure yet how I'm going to afford all this travel, I might have to get the odd ticket on my credit card and make an effort to pay more of the balance off.
Next life plan (as they seem to be being granted so far this year) is to move to a nicer home.
I know 2011 isn't being the best year for some, and I hope I haven't stoeln anyone else's year luck, as so far, it's been the best year I've had for quite some time!
