The end of the school year finally arrived!

It took a while thanks to all of the snow days, but we made it.

Larissa "graduated" from her little yellow preschool that we have adored for two years.

Larissa's preschool has a "Mom's Day" every year at school where mothers come in and spend an hour with their kids in different stations.

It was so bittersweet knowing that Riss is about to leave this dear little preschool for good when this year is over.  I'm not ready for this chickie to leave the nest.

Even though it means I get woken up in the middle of the night, I still love seeing this girl next to me in the morning.  It reminds me how small she still is but how fast she is growing.

Today was Larissa's much-anticipated preschool field trip to one of our local apple orchards.  This was probably my 5,000th trip to this particular orchard - the 7th or 8th as a class or playgroup field trip, but I have to say - an apple orchard in September never gets old...especially when it's a gorgeous, sunny, 76 degrees out.  I did this trip ( Read more... )
