I was wondering why neither Tig nor Pud had come up to join me in the study this morning. They were both settled in the conservatory, Pud on 'her' chair and Tig on the mattress under 'her' chair. Tigger just came bouncing into the study, and the thing I've been dreading for weeks happened. She was carrying another tiny wee mousey in her mouth. A change of strategy has been required. Saturday night saw the cats being put ostensibly under 'house arrest', in that we locked the cat flap to outgoing traffic. An earlier start than expected today, thanks to Tigger bringing in her first mouse of the year. Sam woke up at about 8.30 and heard her playing in the study. There's a definite difference between the noise she makes when just playing with her fake mouse and playing with real ones.
