I've been culling my collection of audiotapes and listening to stuff I haven't heard in years to decide which tapes to buy on CD and which to jettison forever...

Oh, I'd say the two most embarassing album purchases of my youth are:
Rapping Duke (Da ha da ha... Anyone? Anyone remember Rapping Duke?)

And Laura Branigan. (Gloria!)

In my defense, I was 12, and it was the first time I was allowed to spend my allowance on music. I got better. :-D
