I've been culling my collection of audiotapes and listening to stuff I haven't heard in years to decide which tapes to buy on CD and which to jettison forever...
This morning I played
Catching the Sun, a 1980 release by Spyro Gyra. Back in the day (and yes, I got this when it was new), I thought this was fresh, alternative fusion-jazz.
Today it reminds me of what I hear while waiting on hold for tech support.
::sigh::
How about
you? What music did you enjoy in your youth that makes you wince today?
