Crossovers and fusions have always had a special place in my fannish heart. They can be a gateway to the marvels of new fandoms or a welcome reminder of an old beloved one, or simply an intriguing way to show the characters we love in a new light.

As usual I've had problems deciding on which ten to include in this list but these are ( Ten Really Cool Bandom Crossover/Fusion Stories That I Like A Lot... )

I'd a hard time chosing stories for this list and paring it down to only ten definitely wasn't easy! I've tried to include as wide a variety of pairings, kinks, and scenarios as possible (given my own personal preferences of course ;-) I wouldn't exactly call this a Top Ten list though, it's more a list of ( Ten Fabulously Hot MCR PWPs That I Happen To Like Right Now... )

This rec set is a long time coming, so expect some older fic. Also expect some unusual pairings and crossovers with other fandoms.

As I said in my earlier post, I used to be quite sceptical about AUs but popslash taught me to love them so I was VERY happy to discover that bandslash also has a large amount of well-written and well-crafted AUs. Top 10 Fusions.

I love Fusions. They're where you take one set of characters from one universe and place them in another universe as if they always belonged there. It's different from a crossover where you're putting characters in a different world and closer to an AU where characters are thrown into a different situation. I love all of these ( Read more... )
