Well, I have found some fan fic pages to keep me occupied - well, I'm beta reading a fic, and then I discovered copperbadge's LJ with all the fics: Stealing Harryverse is my current FF obsession, by the way. Oh, and Cartographer's Craft. Thank you, Copperbadge, for blessing the HP fandom with your gloriousnes...
Also, I'll be going to NYC this Saturday to see Grease. I do hope it''s good. I watched that show, "Grease is the Word", where 'America chose Danny and Sandy'. I personally didn't really trust America to choose anything, but still, I really liked Laura -- I think she's got some solid talent. (Any woman that can sing Jesus Christ Superstar like she did in front of Andrew Loyyd Webber wins at life.)
School is getting close. It doesn't feel like it, certainly, but when I look at my calender, I see two and a half lines, without Xs, and I think to myself, "Geez, that isn't much time to get my English books read, write a report and finish my French book report, is it? Not when I'm going to a pre-production meeting for The Skriker (go read it, by the way!), going to Washington D.C. with my aunt and uncle the last weekend before school, attending a vocals class at PYT the week of the 20th, celebrating my father's birthday, getting another meeting with my group for Japanese theatre, and TRYING to get to a Harry and the Potters concert. But I'll manage. Just gotta read Schindler's List (which I'm told is a dreadful read) and Dawn (which I've heard is short). Oh, and FINISH "Anne Frank". It's a pretty short book, right? It's a simple read, right? Well, I cannot get through the damn thing. I find it a horridly dull read -- a whiney young girl's diary with a few interesting historical tidbits to be withdrawn from endless complaints about her mother, sister, and other roommates. (My apologies to Anne Frank's memory, by the way, as well as anyone who likes the book.)
