I am currently re-reading the Harry Potter series.  However, I am not reading it in English, but rather in German.  This is for my German 301 class, but I am finding that I quite enjoy it.  There's something satisfying in being able to get through an entire chapter of a book in a language I don't speak very well, and comprehending most of it.  It's ( Read more... )

I live about 20 miles from campus.  This equals a 25-35 minute drive without traffic and a 45-90 minute drive with it.  So this semester I decided to try what dear 'Burque has decided to call the "Blue Line."  It's a bus system that runs every 20 minutes from the westside (approximately 5 miles from my house, yay!) to the Albuquerque UNM campus.  ( Read more... )
