The Eyes Have It
So I know things have been pretty crazy stressful among my local group of friends, but here is a little bit of good news to throw into the mix: I now have new glasses!
For those who didn't hear the story, the guy at the store said he'd try to put a rush on them so I could have them in time for "Wicked" this past Sunday. Apparently, he called me on Friday, but for some reason I didn't get any messages on my machine :( Oh well, it was still really awesome for him to put in that extra effort. I did enjoy "Wicked," and ended up watching about 85% of it through a pair of binoculars, so it all worked out well.
And I have to say--my new frames look really good. And because the lenses are smaller, they are actually thinner than my older prescription, despite the fact that they are stronger. I'm still trying to get used to having a smaller field of vision, but that will come soon, I believe.
So! Eyes taken care of. Up next: teeth!
