Not Near Enough
Sometimes you lose yourself. Lose yourself completely in his touch, his seductive whispers. Sometimes you truly do forget your past, your pain, in the near wild heaven to which he can transport you.
When he leaves without a word it all comes flooding back, surging around you, almost dragging you under. But you're a survivor, stronger than you seem, so you hold yourself together as the waves crash over you. When the darkness of guilt and cruel nightmares threaten to batter you against the rocks, you cling to what he gave you. Forgiveness, trust, and passion.
Sometimes it's nearly enough…
