Mi-Ra-Ku-Ru-Mi!
Hey all! ^_^ It's me, back once again to ramble on half-coherently about things that randomly pop into my head as I try to create a living record of my life. Don't you love it?
Well, the first big thing that happened since last I posted was a seriously fun visit from BOTH Nick and Chip! They stayed a full weekend, Friday through early Sunday. Twas a ton of fun, watching movies with them, playing games, eating out, and having a great time. On a related note, the irish pub downtown has great food, and both Shawn of the Dead and Constantine are fun flicks.
I've been working a lot on my writing, and also on some serious self-improvements in both my work and my day to day life. Plus, I'm finally getting through all my old anime I still needed to watch, including Steel Angel Kurumi, which is playing to my left as I type.
Got to meet someone I've been RPing with on Gaia over this past weekend. Same day, I had a fun conversation-debate-dialogue with Jack from anime club for hours. It was wonderfully enlightening, and frighteningly, I was playing the optimist during it.
I've been happily getting tons of personal work done too. From work on my major to doing extra cleaning around my room... I feel like I'm really getting productive. But, the one thing I can't seem to get done is Echo of Angels. I've been pounding my skull trying to finish it so I can send it around for review, but I just can't seem to get that final chapter into words. Which extra sucks, since I actually know everything that goes on in it.
But on the end of making new stories and characters, I seem to be doing all right... oddly enough, especially when I sleep. My brain has been more inventive asleep than awake as of late... I came up with plenty of new places, characters, and stories (which in a dream sense I lived through) over the past week. It's pretty cool... I feel like all I have to do is wake up and write stuff down. I don't want to jinx it, but I hope it keeps up. I feel like I'm in a whole other world every night.
Also, I've recently been taking an interest in fan films, thanks to the section on theforce.net devoted to them. It's rather inspiring what fans like me can do with enough time and energy, it seems. I love seeing this sort of thing... it gives me that much more drive to complete my own projects.
Hm hm... I finished Sailor Moon Season 1 with Talia, and we started in on the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series box I gave her. I'm in a new Exalted campaign which hasn't really started yet. I'm really enjoying Adventure Quest, and picked up on a few new web comics. Other than that, I don't think there's too much to tell/keep updated on for now. So, may as well just wrap this up properly by asking you to imagine a series of random Hollywood explosions.
