Yo! ^_^ Back once again with the oh so fresh flavor of cookies and cream ice cream. Hope all y'all have been having a good week since last I updated.
Okay, first out of the box, Adventure Quest. If you haven't heard of it and like campy RPG fun, go hunt it down and play it. But be warned; this ranks up there with Neopets on the addictive scale. I started playing Friday, and got so into it, I'm halfway through level 46 now. Sorry, Putnam. ^_~
Next up, Donnie Darko. Finally watched it this past Monday. Wow. Just... words fail me. If you haven't seen it, go see it. If you HAVE seen it, then go to the official web site to find out what the ripple effects of the movie's events really were. On that note, I cannot freaking get the song Mad World out of my head, I need to get the Donnie Darko soundtrack, and I want a Frank mask. You know... for awesomeness value.
Wrote up a ton of new story stuffs recently, including the revamps to my formerly fic characters that have since become the main cast of Nexus Citadel. Still working on mecha design, but I had some cool ideas for the over-all story revamp for Of Gods And Men, the story my two main characters 11 and Jenova came out of.
Tsukikage Ran is a fun series. It's what Niea_7 should have been; no pretending at some big secrets, no futzing around with character development if it's not needed. A seamless blend of drama, action, and a lot of comedy, all of which works without feeling too forced.
Had a bad go at a test earlier this week; basically, I made the classic goof, focusing on the multiple choice too much and not having enough time for the free response. Hopefully, it won't bite me TOO hard. Also, had fun doing a participant observation project at the Boardwalk arcade... learned some interesting things about arcade culture from it. It's made me rethink certain games as being either social or non-social games.
My Developmental Psych observation is next Tuesday... should be interesting, assuming I don't fark it up or all the little kids are napping during my hour. I have to admit... the more I look into this end of psychology, the more appealing it is to me. I dunno... worth keeping in mind, I guess.
And now, for another fun little question for all y'all repliers to reply to; if life could have soundtracks, what would your soundtrack have on it? I advise repliers to THINK about this one... I'd love to get some in-depth replies.
Till Our Swords Cross Again,
ARM
