Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Well friends, that's it.  The Harry Potter movie series has come to an end.  I'm sad, but as Neen said of herself with Smallville - I'm taking this fairly well!

Suuure I cried at certain crucial parts (that I also cried at in the corner of a hotel room 4 years ago when I was reading it :P ), but once that passed I was alright.

I really liked the movie.  It seemed very true to the book.  The only complaints I have are really the same I've had with all the HP movies - the emotions between characters often are... a bit reserved and not all that exciting.  I found Hermione and Ron's kiss to be super anti-climactic, much like Ginny and Harry's first kiss.

They're always been a bit lacking in the personal relationship development department.  Remus and Tonks too - they kinda just got together without any sort of inclination that they would, but they're background characters, so that's not that important - but Harry and Ginny, Hermione and Ron...pretty important.  They always lack that tension.

Otherwise it was very entertaining and I was impressed that the ending didn't turn out as anti-climactic as I expected it to be.

So now what's there to look forward to HP-wise.  I guess...a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida eventually...? :D

hp stuff, harry potter and the deathly hallows rev
