This is going to be just. fucking. like last season.

I was so damn mad all day. Usually I don't remain angry after they lose, I just rant and roll my eyes, and tomorrow is another day. They seem to have this knack of making mistakes in every possible facet. It really is amazing in a way. I'm glad the game was blacked out on TBS, because I'm STILL pissed off from last night's game, that I can bet you today I would have had a stroke or something.
Although, at least they took the stress off early by getting down 8-1 after 5, and I wasn't hanging on to every pitch by the goddamn bullpen, which actually DID AWESOME today. OF COURSE.

I heard tell that the fans threw a bottle at Langerhans. Hahahahahahaha GOOD.

Goin' to Florida next. :) :) :)

-Anyway, on to better things:

I start my NEW JOB on Monday! I work full-time at a plant nursery approx. 10 minutes from home. I'm really really...not even nervous about it. I think I'm more nervous about how I'll get along with other people there than the job itself, but I don't believe I'm going to be around my coworkers every minute. I mean, they'll be there, just not rightthere. I like plants. I'm not allergic to them, and they don't judge me.

I understand that Wawa is part of Corporate America, but they have been awful, just terrible about returning calls, and setting things up. More than one week to get one interview, then another week for a second interview. Then I'd have to wait until next Wednesday for an Orientation seminar, which is a week and a half since the 2nd interview. Then I'd have two weeks of training full-time during the day for an overnight part-time shift. Which, I understand, but, hello, if I have work part-time there, it should occur to them, that I probably have a part-time job elsewhere, and can't spend 2 weeks during the day training.
Either way, that'd be about a month and a half from start-to-finish, all for 24 hours-a-week? That's ridiculous. It'd be different if they were making an attempt, but they really, honestly, aren't. I must've called them about 8 separate times, and they've had the courtesy to return my call once. I get they're busy. Seriously, I get that. And I get if you're interested in a job, you should show you're interested by calling. But after four or five times that I've called, after I've had my first interview and second, I'd think it'd just be common courtesy, especially after they say they'll get back to me (a few times even!), that one of those times, they would.
I think I'll stick to buying stuff there, not working there.

Apparently on Easter, part of my mom's side is coming up for Easter dinner. I'm glad I'll be old enough to drink. Eurgh.

ETA: Um, I'm pretty sure that lovingthecubs will be the only person on my flist to find this fuzzyinducing, but, 'Girardi To Keep Watching'.
And then of course to counteract, Yahoo! posts this article about Fredi, how the Florida opener tomorrow night really is a "home" opener for him and blah blah I think I like Fredi too. I tried not to, out of spite, but I failed. Le sigh. I suppose I'll just always hate Loria, and that's it. and Hanley.
