I think my friend and some presidents just flew by!
-This excites me and probably no one else, but TCM is showing Anthony Perkins movies all afternoon. And not Psycho. Which kind of makes me happy, in a way. I ♥ Anthony Perkins. My first Old Hollywood crush. I'm pretty sure it's in honor of his birthday, which I believe is today. I know it's near mine.
One of the movies is Fear Strikes Out, which is the story of Jimmy Piersall. I've never seen it, so I can't recommend it one way or another, but I'll definitely write later what I thought of it, for the sake of the baseball fans on my flist.
-I had a dream the other night about Dirk&Steve. It was, in a word, amazing. It was like a movie about their relationship, but not like a documentary. Like an actual movie. You know, sort of like 61* is about Maris & Mantle. It was so freaking adorable.
Also, I read that in China, Dirk's nickname translates to "The German Racecar". Hehe aww.
-Happy birfday to schnuggleme. I feel awful for forgetting it in my previous post. x(. But my little birfday notifier didn't er, notify me.
-This biofile on David made me laugh more than it should have. This is what I looked like reading it: xD!
-I still don't know if I'm going to the RPhils on Saturday for their third game of the season, but I guess this year there's this kid on their roster, the 3rd baseman Mike Costanzo, who grew up a Phillies fan. He says he idolized the 1993 squad. I like him already.
Also, one of last year's RPhils, Joe Bisenius, filled out the 25-man roster, so that makes me happy too!
-Speaking of the Phils, there's this pretty awesome article about how Myers & Hamels make a formidable duo, and how having such a great 1-2 has affected the Phils in the past. Way to get my hopes up.
