I spent most of the day today helping the mater paint our new garden sheds (we have two now, a huge workshop/summer house/storage facility at the back, and a potting shed on the patio) and hence, have just discovered rather fetching flecks of Ronseal in Harvest Gold on my face.

Missed my research class today- it's okay it's unassessed. Through a combination of scrupulous oral hygeine and strepsils, the sore throat has gone, but the cold is in full blossom. I'm a bit down today, because I'm in the first stages of getting a sore throat/cold and I haven't had one in ages. Clearly it's the downside of tutoring (why are children such beastly germ-infested disease-carriers?).
