Because of my lack of "productive" writing in the past few weeks (meaning working on my novels instead of working on my fanfiction), mariellahunt told me on Facebook that I had to write 600 words of my own original fiction by the end of the day.  And I am posting to say: I have succeeded!!

• Get Tears through one round of editing -- which I'm now shortening to: finish reading through rough draft and making notes.

Bah.  Being sick is no fun.  I think I have a cold or something, and it hasn't hit in all its glory, but it's still awful.  No, unfortunately this is not the post about the conference, seeing as how I still haven't finished writing it, but it's coming next.  I just couldn't delay another update any longer ( Read more... )

After taking a two-day break from actually writing (for the most part), I came back and wrote 2500 words without hardly thinking about it.  I am absolutely in love with Q10.  I recommended it to Meggy yesterday and today, and so she's going to look into it.  (Hopefully we should have a new convert sometime soon ( Read more... )

I cannot believe how much progress I have made in my writing over the past few days.  Both yesterday and today I've written 3,000 words for Enchantress using Q10.  I haven't written that much in one day since NaNoWriMo!  (My highest word count obtained in one day is 5k, but I'm hoping to beat that this summer.)
