So here I am, still holding on....
After taking a two-day break from actually writing (for the most part), I came back and wrote 2500 words without hardly thinking about it. I am absolutely in love with Q10. I recommended it to Meggy yesterday and today, and so she's going to look into it. (Hopefully we should have a new convert sometime soon!)
Yeah, so that means that Enchantress has 63,000 words.
And on the on the flipside, I made it about 12 pages into editing Part II of Tears, and all that was done in one day! I've decided that once I actually get into editing, the work isn't that hard. Of course, I'm only taking notes at this point, so I have yet to see what it will be like once I begin chopping.
I've been reading Mariella's vampire story and loving it! I am hoping to finish reading what she sent me sometime today, and then begins the hard working of giving some brass-knuckled critiques. I must warn beforehand, though, that it's been hard to find anything wrong with these past few chapters. It's such an awesome story!!
I'll be at a homeschooling conference until Saturday, so, while I'll still be here in the evenings, I probably won't be posting much. However, I will be commenting on Mariella's blog a lot, since she's threatened to stop posting if she doesn't get comments. ;)
