march_for_words and other various life things

So, I only briefly mentioned march_for_words at the end of a Sunday LJ post, so I thought I'd mention it again now.

Basically, it is a low-pressure community intended to cheerlead everyone through establishing a writing routine during the month of March. The point is to spend a little time every day writing, as opposed to trying to write a set amount of words during a particular period of time. You set your own goals and let the community sort of work with you and encourage you to meet them, whether they be "I want to spend fifteen minutes writing without being interrupted" or "I want to finish this chapter by the end of the week." We're sort of making things up as we go along, and we'd really like you to join us. COMMUNITY BREEDS PRODUCTIVITY.

Or something. Anyway, I plan on setting aside some time to write between seven-thirty and eight o'clock tonight, should anyone want to join me.

Hello, internet! How are you this week? Excited about things? Chugging along? I AM GENUINELY INTERESTED IN YOUR WELLBEING, INTERNET.

I am currently at work. I will be here for another hour. I'm trying to kill time, like you do, but, you know, discreetly. This job, internet. This job. There is a flocked post coming up about it one of these days. I can't even.

Outside of ~*this job*~ and the irritation therein, things are going well! On Sunday night, I spent a lovely evening with a lady of my acquaintance. I will be seeing her again this week! It is really very exciting. Becca and I spent yesterday revisiting some old loves-"The Great Game" and S5 of Who. Oh, John Watson! Oh, Team Eleventy! My heart swells with love for both of them ♥

This morning I nearly had a rage aneurysm over something someone said on the internet, but I ranted in an e-mail and felt better. I'm going to pretend that the person in question spoke without thinking and didn't mean to belittle my (and others') mental health issues. I THINK THAT'S BEST FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED. Mostly because it's the sort of thing that will leave me shunned when I inevitably am on the wrong side of it, and shunning isn't half as fun when it doesn’t involve lemon chicken and running away to China.

Anyway, I'm getting a lot of joy and energy out of a thing I'm collaborating on with solsticezero. It will be pretty rad. (It's not fandom related, don't get excited, kids. WE HAVE LIVES OUTSIDE OF FANDOM.) (Um. Sort of.) (Not really.)

Okay. Working some more and then (finally) going home to my house. THANK GOD.
