Here on pocky_slash, we're using Day Four to celebrate the amazingly funny and brilliant and gorgeous Penelope Garcia.
What can I say about Penelope Garcia? Garcia is smart and sassy and beautiful and quick as anything. Surrounded by death and despair and the worst criminals in the country, Garcia chooses to be bright and cheerful. She chooses to use what little free time she has to make the world better for those around her. She's always got a smile and a joke for the BAU team, always willing to do whatever she can (even if it's not entirely legal) to help them out and save the day.
In addition to being awesome at computers and hacking her way into her job with the FBI, Garcia also manages to hold her own among a team of profilers who are all smarter than is probably healthy. She can even profile herself, when forced to, but chooses not to in order to keep her happy worldview. She counsels families of murder victims when she has the time, as if the ghastly images she sees every day at work aren't enough, and even manages to keep a relationship going despite her long hours and unpredictable job.
And, on a totally shallow note, SO PRETTY. Her outfits and her hair and her smile? AMAZING. She's funny and sexy and has no problem showing it and no problem showing it while also being super kick ass competent at her job. Garcia is THE MOST AMAZING. Seriously, guys. The most amazing.
And, guys, this is where you come in today. I haven't written any Garcia fic and I don't read a ton of CriMinds, so please rec me some good fic! Or picspams. Or vids. Or just tell me how awesome Garcia is. Because she is SO FRIGGING AWESOME.
