whew. + sga + valentines
So, man, doing stuff, right? I mean, what even.
I took a valium last night, but I didn't take it until after 3am so I ended up sleeping until 11am. Whoops? It kind of put me off my schedule for the day. BUT. I eventually got everything done. You know, at 9pm.
But! The point is! Everything got done! Which means I can write and read whatever I want tonight and tomorrow and all weekend! Right now, that's a couple fics I've had on the back burner and perhaps a Skulduggery Pleasant re-read (despite the fact that I have four books on my to-read pile).

We're cruising through S4 of SGA! We'll probably finish it this weekend, which means we'll have to pick another show to watch again. God, our lives are the hardest. You don't even know.
Today was "The Seer," "Miller's Crossing," and the three-part midseason pregnancy/replicator/whatever arc. New revelations about SGA:
1) Not new, but I ship Radek/everyone, obvs, and this baffles mcwonthelottery. She hid under a blanket to escape it.
2) I also ship Sam/everyone. Also not news.
3) We really want Ronon to say to John, "I don't understand why you put your dick in him." Re: Rodney, of course. Like, he wants to sit John down and say, "Look. I don't think I can follow your lead until I understand this. Explain it to me. Use diagrams if you have to, but I can't follow your command until you make me understand what you put your dick in there."
4) John's a dick about Teyla's pregnancy, obvs, so clearly she needs to swap John out for Lorne, who is all about her baby. He want to KNIT IT THINGS, I'm sure.
5) Becca agrees that the first time JFlan actually, you know, acts in SGA is in THE SCENE in "Miller's Crossing." You know the one. The one where he refuses to let Rodney sacrifice himself and then talks a dude into killing himself to spare Rodney. Every once in awhile I forget that underneath the slacker/nerd exterior, John is a crazy lunatic badass who will kill you with his bare hands to save his friends.
6) Replicators are still boring as fuck.
7) Unrelated to our re-watch, I love every SGA fic where Madison refers to John as "Uncle John" and I think I'm going to re-read like, three of them right now.
I'm going to be sad to end SGA, especially since I'll know in my head there's another season, just one that I don't actually acknowledge. (I may make mcwonthelottery watch "The Shrine," though because... it's "The Shrine." You can't be in SGA fandom and not watch it. Beer on the pier! Kate in off-world mission black!)
